The Manager will be responsible forstrategizing managing and creating content for the Enrollment & Student Affairssocial media channel(s);writing content and schedulingthe weeklyall-studentnewsletterThe Runner;updating webpages as needed; andidentifyingother creative means toshare information and build engagement with current students.
The Manager is empowered and expected tocontinuously improve communication processestoreflect best practices. In particular the Manager will work closely with the Director ofStudent Communicationsto develop thoughtful communication campaignstoconnect students with resources on-campus events andessential informationwhilealsopromotingEnrollment &Student Affairs services.

- Reviews andmaintainsthe shared student communications inbox for request submissions to the all-student newsletter.
- EnsuresADA compliance andthe maintenance of MSU Denvers brand identity through all activities.
- Highlightachievementssharing high-impact numbers to branch LeadershipStudent Affairsannualreporthighlightsand other outlets.
- Continuouslyimprovesprocesses and plans to adapt to changing circumstances and uphold best practices especially around inclusiveness for diverse audiences.
- OverseestheStudent Affairs websites content organizationstructureand ongoing maintenance.
- Attendson-campuseventsandassistswith annual projects and events asneeded.
- Potentiallymonitorssocial media channels during crises reporting findings to the Director of Student Communications.
- May supervise a team of student employees.
- The Student Affairs operations team shares ownership ofour offices day-to-day operations and coverage. Time spent covering the front desk andassistingguests is ateamexpectation.
- Bachelors degreein communications marketing businessjournalismor related field
- Excellent writing and editing skillsto produce compelling error-free copy
- At least oneyear ofprofessional work experiencemanaging social media for an organization or brand
- Proven ability to tailor communication methods to a wide range of diverse subjects and audiences.Experience crafting engaging content.

Salary for Announcement
We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $52934 - $62000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.
The above salary range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
