Java Developer and IT Support Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities :
Major scope:

Backend Development

Develop scalable full-stack web applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and  on the frontend.

Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them with modern frontend UIs.

Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React and Angular as per project needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Participate in code reviews unit testing and troubleshooting.

IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist is close to the customer (usually local to a certain location or region) an active listener with an open ear and a helpful hand for the customers IT problems. This covers the first and second level support as well as the day-to-day operations of IT products services or solutions. As first point of contact for BD customers this role is a strong contributor to the image building for BD.

Overall Task:

Backend Development

Build and maintain RESTful application using Spring Boot framework

Write clean maintainable and reusable code.

Implement business logic and application workflows.

IT Support Specialist

Provides 1st/2nd level support for customer problems.

Recommends system modifications to reduce user problems.

Interacts with several units and teams to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.

Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.

Provides consulting along BD portfolio on expert topics or in defined use cases.

3-4 years

Mandatory/requires Skills:

Strong experience with Java 17 Spring Boot and RESTful services along with solid expertise in writing complex SQL queries.

ORM tools: JPA/Hibernate

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge in FirstSpirit Web Content Management Systems (WCMS) and FirstSpirit Module Development

Experience with Spring Boot microservices architecture

Hands-on experience with 

Proficient in JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and responsive design
