As ourGroup Demand Planning Manager you will playan important rolein shaping how demand is planned and translated into execution across the BDRThermeaGroupa leading manufacturer of smart indoor climate solutions.You bring together statisticalexpertise data-driven insights and operational understanding to ensure forecasts are not onlyaccurate buttruly usefulfor decision-making.
You will join ourGroup Supply Chain team.In your day-to-day work you collaborate closely with colleagues in sales finance and supply planning within our local operating companiesprovidingcentral insight while supporting alignment between local and global plans.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful transformation aswecontinueourjourney towardsinsight-driven demand planning. You will partner with diverse markets working thoughtfully across cultures different ERP environments and varying levels of planning maturity. With the rollout of SAP IBP DP you will help strengthen analysis encourage open dialogue around assumptions and support the gradual development of shared forecasting principles and growth ambitionsacross the group.
This isa hybrid role based in Apeldoorn the Netherlands.You areinvitedto work on-siteat least one day per week (preferably two).We support your home office set-up and offer flexibility in how you balance on-site and remote work.
Developmaintain and continuously improve statistical forecast models in SAP IBP DP to support forecast accuracy across the group.
Analysedemand patterns trends and exceptions toidentifyrisks and opportunities for improvement.
Support alignment between local operating company forecasts and central insights including the use of external market and macroeconomic data.
Monitor order intake and actual demand versus forecasts translating insights into practical input for operational teams.
Act as a trusted subject matter expert encouraging constructive dialogue and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
57 years of experience in demand planning statistical forecasting supply chain analytics or related domains.
Demonstrated experience improving forecast accuracy and connecting planning outputs to operational execution.
Experience working with SAP IBP DP or similar forecasting tools including the use of external data sources.
The ability to translate complex analyses into clear actionable recommendations for different audiences.
Strong analytical skills a fact-based approach to decision-making and the ability to build effective relationships incross-functional teams working inan international matrixorganisation.
A Bachelors orMasters degree in Supply Chain Operations Research Statistics Data Science ora relatedfield.
