DescriptionSUMMARY
The Research Analyst researches real estate market and property information for the purpose of market intelligence reporting and in support of real estate transactions specific for the clients needs.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compiles and maintains real estate market information and property data within databases
- Conducts market research to understand and maintain awareness of current real estate market conditions and trends
- Compiles real estate market reports and tailor real estate market information and property information reports according to client needs
- Conducts research as it relates to real estate property and market information including but not limited to real estate properties and property values
- Attend real estate market events related to the relevant areas of real estate (retail office industrial)
- Periodically visit sites appropriate to real estate markets within branch locations
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION JOB-RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION:Community college diploma or equivalent training.
JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:More than one year up to three years
Knowledge & Skills
- Community college diploma or university degree preferably in business administration
- 1 to 3 years of market research work experience
- Ability to research and determine appropriate sources of information specifically pertaining to the real estate industry
- Ability to conduct market research interpret findings and provide suggestions on appropriate value for real estate properties
- Ability to tailor information and prepare reports according to client requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data
- Understanding of the real estate industry market conditions and trends an asset
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency with geographic information systems software an asset. Ability to learn new information systems quickly.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
This is a regular full-time position with a salary range of $45968 - $57461 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidates competencies including but not limited to experience education and performance related to this role.
