VISION:

SCOPE:



The Data Analyst is responsible for the data analysis and solution development to deliver meaningful insights to support informed decision-making throughout the agency. Additionally this position is responsible for the input of data from various source documents into the computer system for storage processing analysis and data management purposes. The Data Analyst will be responsible for training and supporting staff in the use and maintenance of EMHWare and other database system(s). The Data Analyst will also be responsible for quality assurance within varying systems throughout ONWA. The Data Analyst will work closely with management and senior management for new and existing programs to highlight qualitative and quantitative data/information and be adaptive in needs identified by management and senior management within data extraction and dissemination of information.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A post-secondary diploma/ degree and a minimum of three (3) years work experience in data entry and/or business administration.
  • Highly proficient in a variety of computer applications such as MS Office and experience with different data base software.
  • Experience in micro and macro-SQL coding is an asset and other similar software systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and or information to provide Indigenous gender-based analysis.
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated excellent administrative clerical abilities.
  • Knowledge and working of Not-For Profit Organizations.
  • Demonstrated organizational time management and presentation skills with the ability to follow through on assigned duties independently within strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communications with emphasis on keen listening and ability to effectively interpret verbal communications and the needs of prospective Community Members.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current issues facing Indigenous Women and their families.
  • Ability to speak an Indigenous Language is considered an asset.
  • Current valid vulnerable sector criminal records check. Valid 1st Aid/CPR.
  • Internet access is required within this position.
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible working from home arrangement if required. This may include a combination of virtual remote work in your home and in office arrangements. This will be based on operational needs and will be determined by ONWA.
  • Must be dependable able to follow instructions respond to management direction and be able to improve performance through management feedback.
  • Reliable vehicle appropriate vehicle insurance and valid Ontario G class drivers license.



Please know this is a new role in which we are recruiting for.

The full salary range for this role is $56400 - $69405. ONWA conducts annual performance reviews and employees may be eligible for salary adjustments based on performance outcomes and available funding.
