DescriptionResponsibilities include overall support to a Vice-President or Chairman as related to day-to-day operations of the department or office. Coordinates the administrative activities for the clinical administrative and academic department or departments for which the VP or Chair is responsible.
Responsibilities- As the Executive Assistant you will serve as an integral member of the medical schools Graduate Medical Education (GME) team supporting the Dean for GME at one of the largest accredited sponsors of residency and fellowship programs nationwide.
- Organize and coordinate appointments meetings and conferences for the Dean for Graduate Medical Education.
- Organize and coordinate committee activities including management of agenda development of minutes AV needs communications and reporting.
- Support for GME events including coordination communications and on-site oversight.
- Oversee broader office needs including requests for verification of training
Qualifications- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and maintain confidentiality with a broad range of leaders across the health system.
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple tasks and projects with careful attention to detail accuracy and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate practical solutions.
- Basic graphic design experience is a plus.
- Bachelors degree preferred but equivalent combination of education and/or experience considered.
- 3-5 years relevant experience preferably in an academic setting.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $66482.07 - $98827.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
