026 Food City Assistant Bakery Team Leader Arizona Ave & Ray

POSITION PURPOSE:We are looking for a fearless and accountableBakery Team Lead who is positive and passionate! OurBakery Team Leadwill be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the store. TheBakery Team Leadwill effectively direct and supervise all activities of the bakery department and its personnel to achieve merchandising sales and customer service goals established for the department. A Bakery Team Lead is a responsible team player and always ready to learn. A Bakery Team Lead can work at a fast pace has a keen eye for detail and will provide a memorable experience for all our customers!

Responsibilities:ABakery Team Leadis a responsible friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

A Bakery Team Leads responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
• Engaging with customers through smiles and greetings offering product information providing selling suggestions and active sampling and always giving a genuine thank you.
• Focusing on providing fast and friendly customer service.
• Processing cash register transactions giving back change processing checks EBTs and refunds.
• Using scale printer machine ensuring weights and pricing are correct.
• Understanding the importance of and monitoring product pricing signage and placement as well as the use of product shelf tags and shelf signage.
• Keeping a clean neat and orderly check stand/sales counter and work production areas.
• Wrapping bagging boxing weighing slicing finishing and stocking bakery department products rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.
• Displaying goods following bakery department and/or merchandising guidelines.
• Understanding the importance and the monitoring of product pricing signage and placement as well as the use of product shelf tags and shelf signage.
• Keeping a clean neat and orderly bench production area storage area and walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Helping in the wrapping boxing weighing slicing finishing and stocking bakery department products rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.
• Displaying goods following bakery department and/or merchandising guidelines.
• Taking customer orders ensuring orders are completed on time and to the customers satisfaction.
• Helping decorators and bakers with personalization of cakes and icing of cakes donuts sweet rolls etc.
• All other related duties as assigned

• MUST BE 18 years of age

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

Standing Sitting Lifting Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.) Pushing Keyboarding Telephone Use Walking Bending

Salary Ranges:

The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education training or experience among other bona fide factors.

Minimum Pay Rate: $18.22/Hr.

Maximum Pay Rate: $22.47/Hr.
