Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing facility on a 13-week contract. This role offers a guaranteed 30 hours per week with variable shift scheduling. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering effective physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist patients in improving mobility strength and functional independence
Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
Collaborate with the therapy team and nursing staff to support patient care
Adhere to facility policies procedures and rehabilitation standards

Requirements Experience

Minimum experience required: Less than 1 year (newer PTAs welcome)

Licensure

Active state PTA license required prior to assignment start

Certifications

All standard PTA-related certifications as required by state regulations
