Job Summary

Job Summary

The School Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations of the school. This role acts as the operational backbone of the organization integrating people processes and systems to support academic excellence and sustainable growth.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily school operations and ensure alignment with the schools strategic plan.
  • Manage non-academic departments including Operations HR Finance Admissions and administrative functions.
  • Ensure high standards of service quality for students and parents.
  • Plan and control operational budgets in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Develop and maintain operational systems workflows SOPs and internal policies.
  • Coordinate across academic marketing and admissions teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee front office admissions services and parent support functions. Manage procurement contracts and school assets.
  • Identify and manage operational risks and resolve on-site issues effectively.
  • Support the School Director in executing strategic initiatives and organizational development projects.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration Management Educational Administration or a related field.
  • At least 58 years of experience in operations management or school administration.
  • Experience in private or international schools is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of operational systems workflow design and quality control.
  • Excellent people management and coordination skills.
  • Strong planning prioritization and cost control abilities.
  • Leadership mindset with hands-on operational capability.
  • Fluent in Thai and proficient in English at a professional working level.

1. Operational Efficiency

  • Operational continuity and smoothness of daily operations Issue
  • Resolution Time Completeness and effectiveness of operational systems and SOPs

2. Service Quality

  • Parent and student satisfaction scores
  • Quality of service provided by Front Office and Admissions
  • Reduction in the number of complaints

3. Financial & Cost Control

  • Expense control in line with the approved budget Operational cost per student
  • Efficiency of procurement and purchasing processes

4. Process & System Development

  • Number of systems or processes developed/improved Effectiveness in using CRM ERP and internal systems
  • Accuracy of documentation and data

5. Team Management

  • Performance effectiveness of the Operations and Administrative teams Staff retention rate in the Operations department
  • Team skill development and competency building

6. Cross-Department

  • Collaboration Level of collaboration with Academic Marketing and Admissions teams
  • Speed and quality of cross-department coordination

7. Reporting & Strategic Support

  • Accuracy and timeliness of reports Ability to support the School Director in strategic initiatives and projects
