JM Services and Consulting LLC is a leading healthcare consulting firm that specializes in providing top-notch medical services to clients across the country. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Medical Scheduler to join our team in Santa Fe Springs CA.
As a Remote Medical Scheduler you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical services. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments coordinating with medical staff and maintaining accurate records. This is a part-time position that can be done remotely providing flexibility and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for medical services including consultations procedures and follow-up visits
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure availability and proper scheduling of appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of appointments and patient information
- Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of medical services
- Keep track of cancellations and reschedule appointments as needed
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or medical training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical scheduler or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using scheduling software and electronic medical records systems
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Customer service-oriented mindset
