A veterinary clinic is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead its medical team and support the continued growth of the practice. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical surgical and preventive care for patients
- Lead and mentor the veterinary team to support clinical growth and development
- Establish and uphold medical standards protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on operations workflow and team performance
- Foster a positive collaborative and team-oriented work environment
- Support staff training coaching and professional development
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license
- Previous leadership experience (e.g. Lead Veterinarian Medical Director or similar role) preferred
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational abilities
- Commitment to high-quality compassionate patient care
