Job Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Fleet Operations Driver Attendant on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 13.26 - 17.14 per hour
Summary:
The Fleet Driver will be based at Broxtowe Day Services in Beeston and will play a key role in supporting people who use the service by providing safe reliable transport to and from the centre. The role involves collecting service users from their homes in the morning supporting them from their property to the vehicle and returning them home at the end of the day. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Collect service users from their homes and transport them safely to Broxtowe Day Services
- Support service users from their property to the vehicle and ensure their safe return home at the end of the day
- Operate fleet vehicles in a safe professional and courteous manner
- Ensure the wellbeing and comfort of passengers during journeys
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Work collaboratively with day services staff to support service delivery
Essentials:
- Hold a valid D D1 or D1 (101) driving licence
- Willingness to work one Saturday in four on a rota
- Reliable punctual and professional approach to work
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to support vulnerable adults with care and respect
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
