What Youll Do

• Play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning coordination and execution of software releases.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product engineering quality and platform engineering to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of software updates to users.
• Plan and execute software releases by interfacing with all stakeholder functions of a release such as the engineering managers program managers and product managers.
• Own the release management lifecycle which includes scheduling coordinating and managing releases across the organization by measuring progress and mitigating risks affecting the release in scope quality and schedule.
• Own maintain and report on release content and artifacts via release plans and release retrospectives.
• Conduct and report release readiness reviews along with reviewing go-live blockers.
• Manage critical information such as build and release procedures dependencies delivery units and notification lists.
• Work closely with the engineering teams to continuously improve the release process by providing collaboration information management tools and close integration with CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment) systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps or Software Release.
• Work experience to include: (1) 5 years of experience in Release Management. (2) 3 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). (3) 2 years of experience with Program or Project Management. (4) 2 years of experience with Version Control and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
• Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
• 40 hrs./wk.
• Salary: $164715 to $177000 per year.

This role is based in San Francisco California and we are offering a wage range of $164715 to $177000 per year plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidates skills qualifications and addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy we offer a comprehensive set of benefits including full medical coverage flexible PTO wellness reimbursement and a monthly lunch stipend.
