What Youll Do
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning coordination and execution of software releases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product engineering quality and platform engineering to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of software updates to users.
- Plan and execute software releases by interfacing with all stakeholder functions of a release such as the engineering managers program managers and product managers.
- Own the release management lifecycle which includes scheduling coordinating and managing releases across the organization by measuring progress and mitigating risks affecting the release in scope quality and schedule.
- Own maintain and report on release content and artifacts via release plans and release retrospectives.
- Conduct and report release readiness reviews along with reviewing go-live blockers.
- Manage critical information such as build and release procedures dependencies delivery units and notification lists.
- Work closely with the engineering teams to continuously improve the release process by providing collaboration information management tools and close integration with CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment) systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps or Software Release.
- Work experience to include: (1) 5 years of experience in Release Management. (2) 3 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). (3) 2 years of experience with Program or Project Management. (4) 2 years of experience with Version Control and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
- Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
- 40 hrs./wk.
- Salary: $164715 to $177000 per year.
