Job Summary
Video Editing & Storytelling
- Edit short-form and long-form content including interviews shows sermons podcasts promos reels social media videos event recaps etc.
- Assemble rough cuts and fine cuts based on creative briefs and direction.
- Apply strong pacing structure and storytelling to all edits.
- Select and integrate music b-roll and supporting visuals appropriately.
2. Technical Execution
- Execute clean edits with proper framing continuity and flow.
- Apply basic color correction and ensure visual consistency across footage.
- Balance dialogue music and sound effects to acceptable standards.
- Prepare exports in required formats for digital social and broadcast platforms.
3. Collaboration & Feedback
- Work closely with the Post-Production Supervisor to understand creative direction and quality expectations.
- Implement feedback accurately and efficiently.
- Flag technical or creative issues early to avoid rework.
- Collaborate with motion graphics and sound teams where required.
4. Organization & Workflow
- Maintain well-organized project files and timelines.
- Follow post-production workflows naming conventions and SOPs.
- Manage assigned tasks to meet agreed timelines and deadlines.
- Excellent media management; copying transcoding labelling archiving etc.
- Upload videos on various websites for approval and distribution
- 5 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro Capcut and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of storytelling pacing and visual rhythm.
- Working knowledge of basic color correction and audio balancing.
- Experience editing content for social media YouTube and digital platforms.
- Basic /intermediate knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics.
- Basic /intermediate knowledge of modern AI tools for video graphics voiceover sound music etc.
- Experience working in fast-paced or high-volume content environments.
- Experience in entertainment digital media media house or Ad agency.
