Job Summary
The Video Editor / Videographer will play a critical role in shaping elevating and amplifying the Ashcorps brands through compelling motion picture and video content across all consumer touchpoints. This role combines visual storytelling technical production expertise creative direction and platform awareness to enhance brand perception drive engagement and support overall marketing and commercial objectives.
The Video Editor / Videographer will oversee end-to-end video production from concept development to filming and post-production ensuring high-quality impactful content across all channels. The role requires the ability to translate brand strategy into visually engaging narratives maintain consistency in visual identity and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing content and design teams. A strong balance of creativity technical skill and excellence of execution is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production
- Conceptualize plan and execute high-quality video content aligned with Ashcorps brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Oversee the full production lifecycle including pre-production production and post-production.
- Capture cinematic high-quality footage for marketing campaigns social media and brand storytelling.
- Ensure all visual content meets professional motion picture standards.
Cinematography:
- Operate and manage cameras lighting and audio equipment to achieve optimal production quality.
- Direct and guide camera operations to capture compelling shots and sequences.
- Maintain strong visual composition framing and lighting consistent with the brands aesthetic.
- Optimize video formats and specifications for platforms such as Instagram TikTok LinkedIn and YouTube.
Content Strategy & Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand Managers design and content teams to align video output with campaign goals.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve audience engagement and reach.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines..
Brand Consistency & Creative Direction
- Ensure all video content adheres to Ashcorps brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Support the development and evolution of video style guides and creative direction.
- Maintain consistency in tone quality and storytelling across all video outputs.
Equipment & Asset Management
- Maintain and manage all video production equipment ensuring optimal functionality.
- Organize and archive video files project assets and production materials efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends tools and emerging video production technologies.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma HND or Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Film Production Media Studies Mass Communication or a related field.
- Proven experience in motion picture video production or editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro After Effects DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of cinematography lighting techniques and audio recording.
- Experience creating content for digital platforms including Instagram TikTok LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Knowledge of motion graphics animation and visual effects is an added advantage.
- Excellent storytelling creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of video production trends tools and best practices.
