Join us as a Senior Manager Business Controls & Monitoring (BCM) where youll provide highquality first line risk advice and support to the Group Customer Operations Chief Operating Office (GCO COO).

Whats the role

This permanent fulltime role based in Sydney partners with the Group Customer Operations Chief Operating Office (COO) and Process & Intelligent Automation Solutions (PIAS) first line risk teams to deliver pragmatic highquality risk advice across digital technology and transformation initiatives within GCO.

Youll help the business manage its control environment in line with Group policies regulatory obligations and risk appetite supporting the safe delivery of largescale change. Youll provide first line risk advice across incidents issues controls and nonfinancial risk metrics and play a key role in RiskinChange and strategic transformation activity.

A major focus will be uplifting technology risk practices driving continual improvement enabling automation and ensuring risk assessments controls and project delivery outcomes are strong and wellgoverned. Youll also support senior leaders with clear insights and reporting that drive informed safe decisionmaking.

What do I need

  • Substantial years of experience in risk or compliance within financial services.
  • Strong experience in technology risk management and working with technology or transformation teams.
  • Exposure to project risk management or RiskinChange (desirable).
  • Knowledge of automation or data tools such as Power Platform Alteryx or AI-based solutions (desirable).
  • Strong commercial acumen analytical problemsolving capability and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative outcomesfocused mindset.
