Job Summary
Schedule: Friday Saturday Sunday
Shift Time: 9am - 9pm
$17/hr
Transport patients that require diagnostic imaging exams utilizing wheelchairs or stretchers. Proper body mechanics must be utilized at all times while involved in the transfer of the patient. Working knowledge of current hospital floor plan is critical to proper patient flow. The transporters must be knowledgeable of all isolation techniques to protect the patient and the employee. Accurate documentation of patient transport logs is required.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from Diagnostic Services department.
- Maintain work area equipment and supplies
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CPR certification required.
