The MHA Resident (Intern) will be a student at the University of Minnesotas Master of Healthcare Administration program who has completed their first year of courses. This internship will serve as fulfillment of their capstone project required for graduation.
The Student Intern will report to the Sr. Director of Business Development and assist with development of business and strategic plans relating to UMPhysicians. The internship will be anchored by a primary Capstone project with opportunities to contribute to additional smaller projects as assigned. The role will also include administrative and analytical tasks and other general internship responsibilities all in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or University.
- In-progress with a masters degree with an emphasis on healthcare (MPH MHA MHSA MBA) or a related field.
- Excellent writing skills computer skills strong interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to complete projects accurately and on time.
- Knowledge or experience within healthcare and/or healthcare administration.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and demonstrates excellent listening skills.
- Basic data entry or word processing.
Compensation:
18.68 - 28.04 USD Hourly
