Job Summary
Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies is looking for experienced Managed Care Specialists/Paralegalsto work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of TennCare (TN TennCare) locatedin Nashville TN. This is a hybrid position working from8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
Paralegal Key Responsibilities will include:
- Determining individual and family eligibility for clients care programs.
- Assisting in coordinating and communicating schedules to internal/external clients.
- Conducting client interviews collecting facts and information and compiling case data to provide recommendations to an attorney.
- Timely management of casework including proper documentation and case resolution.
- Providing legal research analysis of legal papers and drafting legal documents; documenting findings accurately.
- Working efficiently/effectively in multiple databases to extract information.
- Attending workgroup meetings and participating in discussions.
- Assisting leadership team as necessary.
Education Requirements and Skills Needed for Paralegal position:
- MUST have a bachelors or associate degree.
- A background in Paralegal studies is preferred.
- Work experience in a legal environment is preferred.
- Customer service or call center experience is a plus.
- Proven technical skills (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint SharePoint etc.).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet specific deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Strong notetaking email organization and distribution skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Other Important Information:
- The position is a hybrid one in downtown Nashville TN.
- The contractor will work on-site and remotely based on the teams schedule.
- The position is a contract one for 12 months with an opportunity to be extended.
- Training is extensive up to 6 weeks prescheduled virtual/in-office (by supervisor request) and contractorsmust attend training every dayto build proficiency.
- NO preplanned time off will be approved during training weeks.
- MUST be local to middle TN and able to work in the clients office in Nashville as needed.
