Shift: Full Time Days 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri with weekend requirements as needed.

How youll contribute - As a Wound Care Registered Nurse you will work closely with the provider you will be joining a high performing team grounded in teamwork and effective communication you will strive to provide the highest specialized wound care services including patient assessment direct care clinical staff education and family instruction to ensure effective treatment outcomes and support rehabilitation goals.

Essential Functions

  • Perform patient assessments to identify wound care needs and appropriate interventions.
  • Evaluate patient progress and wound healing outcomes adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Initiate and implement nursing interventions tailored to the patients condition.
  • Provide direct wound care based on patient condition and age-specific needs.
  • Educate patients and families on wound care procedures prevention strategies and discharge instructions.
  • Provide clinical staff education related to wound care treatment plans procedures and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. Graduate of an accredited Wound Ostomy Care Nurse program.

  • License: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

  • Certification: CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred. WOCN certification preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in wound care required.

  • Requires strong assessment planning and communication skills.
  • Must be able to collaborate across disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
