Job Summary

A highly respected independent girls day school in Solihull is seeking an enthusiastic and academically strong Teacher of French to join its successful Modern Foreign Languages department. This is an excellent opportunity to teach French in a school that places great value on languages cultural understanding and confident communication.

The Role

You will teach French across Key Stages 35 delivering engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons that develop pupils confidence in speaking listening reading and writing. The curriculum places strong emphasis on authentic language use cultural exploration and high-level exam preparation.

Teaching focuses on:

  • Confident use of the target language in lessons

  • Developing fluency accuracy and extended responses

  • Exploring French culture literature and current affairs

  • Preparing pupils for success at GCSE A-Level and beyond

Teachers are encouraged to bring creativity and academic rigour to their lessons within a supportive departmental framework.


The MFL Department
