We are seeking a confident enthusiastic and experienced KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cambridge starting ASAP. As a KS2 Teacher you will plan deliver and assess lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will support pupils to develop independence confidence and resilience preparing them for the transition to secondary school and ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Assess track and monitor pupil progress to inform planning and interventions
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including those with SEN
Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom
Create a stimulating structured and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants colleagues and senior staff
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and needs
Contribute to staff meetings planning sessions and school initiatives
Support pupils social emotional and academic development
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have recent experience teaching in KS2
Be confident in delivering a broad balanced and engaging curriculum
Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be enthusiastic reflective and innovative in teaching practice
Be a collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Be committed to inclusion safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
