The Science Technician will support teachers across Biology Chemistry and Physics ensuring that practical activities are fully prepared equipment is maintained and safety procedures are followed meticulously. You will work closely with a supportive team of technicians and academic staff.
Experience in a laboratory or science technician role (school experience desirable)
Strong understanding of laboratory safety including COSHH and risk assessments
Ability to prepare and set up practical experiments across all three sciences
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage stock and equipment
Confidence handling chemicals and laboratory apparatus
Good IT skills and willingness to use digital systems for tracking and preparation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
A commitment to supporting teaching staff and contributing to outstanding student learning
