Job Summary
We are working with a leading independent school in Islington to appoint a scholarly History Teacher for a permanent full-time role. This is a school where History is a highly popular subject known for its rigorous approach to source analysis and historical debate.
The Role The successful candidate will teach History across all key stages engaging pupils with a broad and diverse curriculum. Responsibilities
Teaching History lessons that foster critical thinking and deep subject knowledge.
Supporting pupils with university entrance including Oxbridge and Russell Group applications.
Leading or contributing to the schools History and Politics societies.
Participating in departmental planning to ensure a rich evidence-based curriculum.
Requirements
QTS and an excellent degree in History.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
A valid enhanced DBS check.
Salary M1 UPS3 () per annum.
