SEND Provision:
The school is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to lead and develop SEND provision across the school. You will oversee identification assessment and support for pupils with additional needs ensuring provision is effective inclusive and compliant with statutory guidance.
The SENCO works closely with class teachers parents external professionals and senior leaders to develop individual support plans and monitor progress. The role includes coordinating interventions managing EHCPs delivering staff training and promoting inclusive classroom practice.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary or secondary setting
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Commitment to inclusive education and child-centred practice
