Implement strategies from EHCPs behaviour plans and support plans
Provide emotional and behavioural support using positive approaches
Assist with communication and language development where needed
Adapt learning activities and resources to suit individual needs
Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times
Encourage independence and self-regulation skills
Work collaboratively with teachers SENCOs and pastoral staff
Record observations and contribute to progress reviews
Some roles may involve personal care or physical support depending on pupil needs. Full training will be provided and dignity and safeguarding will always be prioritised.
