Job Summary
At ABAX our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are a fast-growing international organisation that values collaboration continuous learning and high-quality operations. As we continue to expand we are looking for a Junior Accountant Coordinator to join our finance team.
In this role you will support the day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure accurate timely and compliant financial processes across the organisation. You will work closely with experienced colleagues gain exposure to international accounting practices and contribute to maintaining strong financial controls and reliable reporting.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail willingness to learn and a structured approach are key. What youll do:
Works confidently with financial data and identifies inconsistencies or deviations.
Handle incoming invoices and manage deviations in cases where the workflow is not fully automated.
Lead or support initiatives to increase automation of invoice processing workflows.
Define and document processes for invoice handling including correct coding and classification .
Manage expense processing for Unit 4 within Norway.
Support monthly reporting activities by assisting with preparation uploading and filing of documentation in a clear and structured manner in close collaboration with the line manager.
What we believe you bring:
A relevant academic degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
Hands-on experience from a similar role with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Strong numerical understanding and the ability to work accurately with data and reports.
High attention to detail combined with a structured and quality-focused way of working.
A curiosity and willingness to learn with the ability to quickly adapt to and work with new systems and tools.
Fluency in Norwegian both written and spoken with a good communication skills.
