About the opportunity

The Senior Admissions Officer Central Credit is part of the team responsible for efficient admissions from application receipt to enrolment of prospective students into pre-degree bachelor and postgraduate coursework courses at the University. The role will provide efficient and innovative credit operations for the University in line with the Universitys strategic priorities and in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What youll do:

  • Develop professional collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfactory credit outcomes for applicants and the University.
  • Assess applications against approved credit guidelines and in accordance with admissions policy and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed reports correspondence and/or documents on complex and sensitive issues relating to credit.
  • Develop consistent guidelines and requirements for University entry in line with industry benchmarks.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation implementation and compliance with relevant legislation policies procedures and guidelines.

What were looking for:

  • Completion of a degree advanced diploma qualification or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
  • Sound knowledge of admissions and recruitment practices and demonstrated experience in the application interpretation and administration of policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently and provide excellent customer service.
  • Experience in fast-paced administrative environments managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in training coordinating and supervising staff.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116872 comprising base salary within the range of $92120 to $99891 plus 17% superannuation.
