Job Summary

Draughtsman - Roofing & Cladding

Cheshire (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

35000 - 65000 dependent on experience

Client: Well-established family-run roofing and cladding contractor with over 40 years of experience delivering projects up to 5m in value. This respected company specialises in industrial warehouse builds alongside commercial retail and educational sectors working primarily with composite and built-up systems. Known for excellent workplace culture and employee development opportunities.

Job Info: Design and detail bespoke cladding and building envelope solutions from cradle to grave working with composite and fully supported systems including Kingspan TATA Steel CA Euro Clad and Euro Bond. Prepare full drawing sets manufacture drawings fabrication schedules and steelwork checks whilst liaising with site staff clients and architects. Progress to attending design meetings conducting site surveys and managing material scheduling. Hybrid working available with minimum 3 days office attendance.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 8am-2pm.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years AutoCAD experience specifically in roofing and cladding industry with Revit experience advantageous
Strong experience with building envelope solutions including composite and built-up systems from major manufacturers
Excellent attention to detail with ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across project teams
