Next Step Treatment Center is seeking an experienced PRP Rehabilitation Specialist to join our clinical team at our Landover location.
The primary function of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist is to oversee the coordination of care rehabilitation planning and proper documentation of all service delivery for individuals receiving PRP (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) services. As part of a multidisciplinary team the Rehabilitation Specialist provides assessment person-centered treatment planning psychosocial skill training clinical documentation and other services driven by client need.
Thissupervisory position works closely with the PRP Program Director and directly supports staff supervision team meetings and clinical addition the Rehabilitation Specialist plays an active role in program growth and client engagement including:
- Supporting marketing and outreach efforts to increase awareness of PRP services
- Collaborating with leadership on community engagement and referral development
- Assisting with social media and digital outreach initiatives by contributing clinical insight program highlights and community-focused content
- Participating in networking with referral sources community partners and allied providers to strengthen client recruitment pipelines
- Representing the program at community events meetings and outreach activities when appropriate
Qualified candidates must hold amasters degree in social work psychology counseling or a related mental health field. Candidates should have 12 years of relevant experience and be licensed in the state of Maryland (LMSW LGPC LCSW-C LCPC or CPRP).
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and supervisory abilities
- The ability to build rapport with clients and community partners
- Comfort using computer software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- An interest in program visibility growth and community impact alongside clinical excellence
