Job Summary
Private Family inCliffside Park NJis seeking a highly competent experienced LOCAL Newborn Care Specialist to partner with their other caregivers providing loving and attentive full care during the DAY shift for newborn baby girl born March 7 2026 ASAP working Monday-Friday until July 15 2026 excluding Holidays.
- Position:Full-Time 8-10 hour shift Live-Out
- Schedule:Monday-Friday until July 15 2026 excluding Holidays. Beginning at 8:00 am. Between their current Nanny and the new hire:one nanny will work Monday - Thursdayand the other Tuesday - FridayTheir current Nanny andthe new Nanny will work togetheroverlapping tosupportlonger coverage during the weekdays. Flexible to swap a weekday for occasional Saturday
- Salary:$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
- Start Date:ASAP
- Relocation:No local established candidates only residing within a reasonable driving distance for commute.
About the Family
Both principals work in an office: 1 3 days week and the other 5 days/week.
They are looking for a trustworthy caring and patient experienced NCS who is self-directed and needs no direction.
- Children:Big brother is 7 months old
- Household Staff:Night NCS- TheirNanny who was theirformer housekeeper of 13 yearswill continue with the family during the night hours until this day position and her time will end with the family July 15 2026. The family also has another Nanny who cares for big brother.
Responsibilities
- Provide full infant care:nurturing comforting changing feeding routine napping etc.
- Engaging: playing reading engaging the baby with age-appropriate activities
- General tidying related to baby organize baby areas
- Maintain stock of baby related items
Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is proactive trustworthy and confident in their skills. They should be naturally nurturing have a positive attitude and take pride in maintaining a structured tidy and peaceful environment. A flexible mindset strong communication skills and a calm demeanor are essential.
Requirements
- MUST have recent years of experience working as a trusted NCSin a private household
- Minimum of 2-3 Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Must have reliable transportation to/from residence
- Drivers license and clean driving record
