Job Summary

TrendMiner delivers self-service data analytics to optimize process performance in industries such as chemical petrochemical oil & gas pharmaceutical metals & mining and other process manufacturing industries. TrendMiner software is based on a highperformance analytics engine for time-series data that allows users to question data directly without the support of data scientists. Search diagnostic and predictive capabilities enable users to speed up root cause analysis define optimal processes and configure early warnings to monitor production.

As a highly innovative and fast-growing company were always on the lookout for ambitious and enthusiastic new talent. We are currently seeking an Account Executive (gn) to join our team to focus on new business and business development. The position is available immediately on a full-time basis in a hybrid working model in Belgium the Netherlands or Germany. Regular attendance at our headquarters in Hasselt Belgium is required.

As an Account Executive (gn) your challenge is to drive new business by articulating the value of our self-service industrial analytics platform to decision-makers across various industries. You will play a critical role in expanding our customer base in a fast-paced rapidly evolving market where digital transformation is a top priority.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a solution-selling environment has a passion for industrial innovation and is strongly focused on new business generation and business development making a direct impact on customers journey toward operational excellence.

Tasks

  • Identify develop and close new business opportunities in the process manufacturing and industrial sectors.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations with C-level executives plant managers and operational stakeholders.
  • Present TrendMiners platform and value proposition through live demos proposals and compelling business cases.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with the marketing customer success and product teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and deliver reliable sales forecasts.
  • Represent TrendMiner at industry events trade shows and webinars.
  • Continuously gather feedback from the market to inform go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related field (Masters is a plus).
  • 3 years of Experience in B2B sales preferably in SaaS industrial technology or data analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and experience with consultative selling.
  • Affinity with our focus industries: Manufacturing Process industries Food & Beverages Chemicals
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Self-motivated results-oriented and able to thrive in a dynamic scale-up environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as German and/or French are a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to be present in Hasselt on a weekly basis.
