Role: QA Engineer

Location: Hyderabad & Gurgaon

Work Mode Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Functional & System Testing

o Analyze requirements and design test scenarios test cases and test data.

o Execute end-to-end functional testing across UI backend services and

integrations.

o Perform regression smoke and sanity testing for regular releases.

Automation & API Testing

o Develop and maintain test automation scripts for UI and APIs.

o Perform API testing for REST services including request/response validation.

o Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

Data & Backend Validation

o Validate data accuracy and integrity across databases reports and analytics

layers.

o Execute SQL queries to verify transformations aggregations and business

rules.

o Perform reconciliation testing between source and target systems.

AI / Intelligent Feature Testingo Validate AI-driven or rule-based features for accuracy and consistency.

o Test prompt-driven workflows fallback logic and edge cases in AI outputs.

o Assist in identifying hallucinations incorrect responses or data leakage risks.

Defect Management & Collaboration

o Log track and manage defects through the complete lifecycle.

o Collaborate closely with developers and product owners for defect triage and

resolution.

o Provide clear test reports quality metrics and release readiness updates.

Quality Ownership & Mentorship

o Take ownership of quality for assigned modules or features.

o Support and guide junior QA engineers on testing best practices.

o Contribute to improving QA processes templates and testing standards.

Logical Thinking

o Able to think analytically use a systematic and logical approach to analyze

data problems and situations. Spot discrepancies and inconsistencies in

information and materials. Collaborate effectively with other analytical team

members

Task Management

o Basic level of project management knowledge and experience. Should be

able to plan tasks discuss and work on priorities.

Communication

o Convey ideas and information clearly and accurately to self or others in

writing and verbally. Establish effective mechanisms of communication with

team and the organizations leadership to foster an environment of

openness trust and teamwork

Qualification - BE/BTech/MTech/MCA

Experience - 8 to 10 yrs

Required Skills:

Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions using generative AI technologies.

Strong proficiency in Python for test automation scripting and data validation

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (API and backend focused)

Strong experience in API testing for RESTful services

Advanced knowledge of SQL and data testing for analytics and data pipelines

Experience testing backend and microservices-based architecture

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Strong defect management root cause analysis and reporting skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI and adapt to new techniques and methodologies.
