Job Summary

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for Tool & Die Maker for their facility at Akron OH location.

Shift - 1st shift Days (6.30 am to 4 pm)

Responsibilities:

Design build repair and maintain dies molds jigs fixtures gauges and cutting tools used in production
Interpret blueprints CAD drawings and technical specifications to manufacture precision tooling
Set up operate and maintain manual and CNC machines (mills lathes grinders EDM etc.)
Perform precision measurements using micrometers calipers gauges and CMM equipment
Troubleshoot tooling issues perform repairs and modifications and support production to minimize downtime
Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and dies to ensure consistent quality and extended tool life
Collaborate with engineering and production teams on tool improvements new tool builds and process optimization

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
2 years of experience preferred in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints sketches and technical drawings
Experience using precision measuring instruments
