Job Summary

JOB DETAILS:

Title: RN Med/Surg
Location: Johnson NY
Shift: 12Hrs Nights shift
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed hour: 48hrs

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical psychosocial and pain assessments
Monitor vital signs intake and output laboratory results and patient condition
Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions
Identify changes in patient status and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Administer medications safely via oral IV IM subcutaneous and other routes
Verify medication orders and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions
Educate patients on medications dosages and potential side effects
Perform wound care dressing changes and post-operative care
Manage IV therapy central lines drains catheters and feeding tubes
Assist with bedside procedures and coordinate diagnostic tests
