Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a fast-paced critical care environment. This role supports pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized ICU/CCU services including post-surgical respiratory and cardiac care.
This assignment requires full schedule flexibility with a mandatory 80 hours every two weeks (no exceptions).
Key Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive ICU/CCU nursing care based on patient acuity and individualized needs

Coordinate and deliver care for critically ill patients including ventilated patients

Maintain patient safety with a typical 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio (additional RN support provided for ventilated patients)

Assist with after-hours PACU recovery as needed
-
Float to OB Medical-Surgical PACU and ER units based on competency and staffing needs
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
-
4-bed ICU / 4 private rooms

ICU/CCU with occasional after-hours PACU recovery

Emergency Room experience strongly recommended

Must be open to any shift (days nights rotating)

80 hours every 2 weeks required

Holiday coverage required

Hospital orientation and in-service training through HR

Unit-based orientation with Nurse Manager

Includes 1 2 day shifts and 1 2 night shifts with a staff RN

Completion of orientation and competency binder required

Active State of Hawaii RN License (must be valid by assignment start)

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

Willingness to float to other departments as needed
