Position: Project Manager
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management and IT Service Management.
Education: Bachelors degree in business IT or a related field
Certifications: Project Management Certification (PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent) Certifications in ITIL (preferable)
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) to lead and deliver strategic IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex IT initiatives ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
o Define project scope objectives and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
o Develop detailed project plans timelines and resource allocation.
o Monitor and control project progress ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
ITSM Implementation & Governance
o Lead ITSM process design and implementation (Incident Problem Change Service Request CMDB).
o Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and organizational policies.
o Collaborate with Service Desk and Operations teams to optimize workflows.
Stakeholder Management
o Communicate effectively with business stakeholders technical teams and vendors.
o Manage expectations and provide regular status updates and reports.
Risk & Issue Management
o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
o Resolve project issues promptly to minimize impact on delivery.
Continuous Improvement
o Drive process improvements and automation within ITSM framework.
o Analyze performance metrics and recommend enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in managing ITSM projects and tools (ServiceNow preferable etc.).
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project Excel etc.).
