The Role
Pantheon is the worlds leading WebOps platform delivering SaaS-based website operations for thousands of marketing and development teams around the globe. We help organizations drive growth improve productivity and deliver engaging digital experiences. As Pantheon continues to expand internationally building strong regional go-to-market leadership is critical to our success.
We are looking for a Director of Sales APAC to establish and grow Pantheons presence in the region with an initial focus on Australia New Zealand and Singapore. This is a founding leadership role responsible for launching the region building early revenue and pipeline momentum developing a strong local partner ecosystem and hiring the first in-region go-to-market team.
This role goes beyond sales execution alone. It is a highly visible leadership role that is key to our strategy in 2026 and beyond. You will be responsible for building the early APAC GTM foundation including sales partners and supporting roles (e.g. SDR Partner Manager Customer Success) in close partnership with global functional leaders.
This is a hands-on role for a builder someone excited to sell personally in the early days while laying the groundwork for a scalable multi-country business.
What Youll Do
- Establish Pantheons APAC go-to-market presence initially focused on Australia New Zealand and Singapore
- Own regional new business revenue targets pipeline creation and forecasting
- Personally sell and close early flagship customers while developing repeatable sales motions
- Build and nurture a regional agency and technology partner ecosystem to drive co-sell and referral pipeline
- Hire onboard and lead the first APAC GTM team expected to grow to 24 in-region hires in the first phase (sales-first with expansion into partners SDR and customer-facing roles over time)
- Work closely with global Sales Partnerships Marketing Customer Success and Solutions Engineering leaders to localize programs and operating models for APAC
- Provide clear pipeline visibility forecasts and market insights to executive leadership
- Act as the voice of the APAC customer and market internally influencing product feedback enablement priorities and GTM strategy
- Lay the foundation for longer-term expansion into broader APAC and Japan as the region matures
What You Bring
- Proven experience building or scaling a regional go-to-market or sales organization ideally in SaaS or developer-focused platforms
- Strong track record selling mid-market and/or enterprise software solutions
- Experience hiring and leading early-stage teams in-region
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and autonomy and building structure from the ground up
- Familiarity with partner-led growth models particularly agency ecosystems
- Strong business judgment and ability to balance near-term revenue with long-term foundation building
- Clear communicator who works effectively across time zones and global stakeholders
- Based in Australia with Sydney or Melbourne strongly preferred and willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally
