Job Summary
Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students with three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs Palmerston and Leanyer.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Science Technician to support the effective operation of our Colleges science department. This handson role is essential in ensuring teachers and students have the resources materials and safe laboratory environment needed to deliver highquality science learning experiences.
As the Science Technician you will prepare and maintain laboratory equipment chemical solutions and practical materials; manage stock and resource allocation; support teachers during practical lessons; and ensure compliance with all safety and hazardouschemical regulations. You will also play a key role in maintaining organised laboratory spaces trialling experiments assisting with demonstrations and supporting students with project requirements.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised detailfocused safetyminded and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication skills initiative and a commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice are essential.
