Speech Therapist (Contract) Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview We are seeking a Speech Therapist for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The Speech Therapist will evaluate diagnose and treat residents with speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities -
Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide speech language cognitive and dysphagia therapy

Document assessments progress notes and treatment outcomes accurately

Collaborate with nursing therapy and medical staff

Educate residents families and caregivers as appropriate

Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications -
Active state Speech Therapist license (required)

Minimum of 1 year experience preferred

Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care settings preferred

Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
