The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Layout Design Engineer specializing in turbine engines to join our Project Team. The Layout Design Engineer will define and maintain the engine BOM configuration and Engine models and assemblies. This position is 100% onsite and no remote or hybrid is available at this time.
Additionally the Layout Design Engineer will:
- Develop and maintain engine BOM structures within PV and IMS2020
- Coordinate with departments for engine assembly
- Manage engine CAD models and product definition
- Review engineering changes and approval for all engine hardware
- Written and oral communication to internal and external customers
- Support project development including supporting external customer needs as well as engine qualification and production efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience aerospace or combustion engine background preferred
- Proficiency using NX with Teamcenter required
- Experience with NX 3D cable/ cable/harness modeling and NX sheet metal application preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel Project and PowerPoint)
- U. S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
