Position Summary

The Benefits Coordinator provides front-line administrative support for the firms benefits programs. This role serves as the first point of contact for routine benefits inquiries processes employee life events and supports accurate data maintenance within the HRIS. The Coordinator focuses on execution and service escalating complex matters as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first-level contact for benefits-related questions via inbox and employee inquiries.
  • Process life events and benefits changes in UKG (new hires terminations qualifying events).
  • Support open enrollment administration including employee communications and data entry.
  • Assist with benefits eligibility tracking and documentation.
  • Route and escalate complex benefits or leave questions to the Benefits Specialist or Director.
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure timely system updates.
  • Coordinate with payroll and HR partners to ensure benefits deductions are accurate.
  • Support compliance-related documentation requests as directed.
  • Provide administrative support for benefits projects and audits.
  • Deliver responsive professional customer service to employees.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred (HR Business or related field).
  • 02 years of HR or benefits-related experience preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume or service environment a plus.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Clear professional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage routine tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Comfortable learning HRIS systems and benefits platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
