The Facility maintenance manager is responsible for the entire maintenance activities at Firenze and Massa plants.

He/she will drive the high level maintenance strategy to optimize activities bring productivity and cost reduction for facility equipment such as but not limited to: HVAC system F&G over-bridge crane lifting device industrial and treatment water system.

He/she will analyze the cause of malfunctions failure mode and repetitive troubles to implement proper corrective actions reducing the incidence of costly breakdowns and improve overall reliability and safety plant personnel and production process.

The Candidate will collaborate with the Maintenance Cell Leader the internal cross-plants maintenance operation team and Contractors site leader.

This role doesnt cover the soft maintenance activities as gardening waste and cleaning.

As Facility maintenance manager you will need to:

  • Define and review the maintenance strategies and procedure of facility items.

  • Coordinate internal team and maintenance contractor to anticipate failures and to solve issues.

  • Guarantee compliance with regulations and continuous improvement of HSE performance collaborating with HSE team.

  • Drives projects and initiatives with the aim to reduce the cost and increase the performances of the facilities.

  • Control the maintenance bullet train cost.

  • Manage maintenance P&E investments of retrofitted assets.

  • Collaborate giving the right support to the investment team.

  • Carry out audit steering committee and keep alive the surveillance system coming through periodical visit and gemba walks.

  • Analyze the main KPI of the maintenance contract to measure the job performance.

  • Support utilization of digital solution for the continuous improvement of maintenance activities and rational use of utilities.

  • Promote best maintenance practices for sharing with all Italian sites.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Scientific Degree from an accredited University

  • Consolidated experience in facility management and maintenance process.

  • Knowledge of mechanical principles equipment and failure mode for components.

  • Attitude toward teamwork

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Established project management skills.

  • Ability in coordinating the job of external Contractors.

  • Self-starter mindset and ability to analyze and solve problems

  • Flexibility to manage the working time

  • Good knowledge of IT tools.

  • English fluency would be a plus
