Job Summary
Role - Backend Developer
Technology Python Microservices Kafka Docker Kubernetes
Location Customer Office Toulouse City France (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Job Description
The Backend Developer will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining digital inspection solutions using electric grid imagery to detect equipment defects and optimize maintenance operations. The role involves active participation across all development phases including design development testing deployment and monitoring of backend services.
Your Role
The Backend Developer will design develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend services while collaborating closely with product managers and crossfunctional teams. The role includes contributing to microservices architecture implementing monitoring and alerting mechanisms troubleshooting production issues and continuously improving engineering practices to enhance platform performance and reliability.
strong proficiency in French and English with excellent oral and written communication skills
Mandatory onsite work: 3 days per week at the customer office in Toulouse France.
Masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related technical field
5 years of experience as a Backend Developer
Strong proficiency in Python (TypeScript is a plus)
Handson experience with microservices architecture
Experience with Kafka and largescale data processing
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools
Experience working in Agile environments
Prior experience in cloudbased platforms or distributed systems
