Role Summary
We are looking for a Vice President to join the Python Engineering team within Quantitative Analytics Engineering group. The role involves building productiongrade analytics data pipelines and models on the Python Production Platform (PPP) with a focus on PreIPO analytics Index creation and Alternatives modeling.
The VP will work directly with local lead and collaborate across global engineering research and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Python-based analytical models for PreIPO Indexing and Alternatives.
Build scalable reliable pipelines using PPP Prefect containers and internal tooling.
Implement rules-based index methodologies rebalancing logic and simulation engines.
Contribute to Real Estate / Private Equity / Alts frameworks (NAV liquidity flows attribution).
Design robust data ingestion & validation workflows across internal and external datasets.
Own endtoend delivery: requirements development testing documentation deployment.
Drive engineering best practices and mentor junior developers.
Required Experience & Skills
68 years of hands-on experience in Python engineering or quantitative analytics.
Strong command of Python data manipulation libraries and production code patterns.
Experience with workflow orchestrators (Prefect Airflow) or distributed compute.
Understanding of financial analytics: Indexing private markets or alternatives preferred.
Strong debugging testing and documentation habits.
Ability to work with global cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with PPP or similar internal compute frameworks.
Knowledge of investment analytics time-series analysis or quant research.
Familiarity with containers GitHub CI/CD or cloud frameworks.
CFA/FRM progress or interest in financial domain.
