About the role

Give is structured as a private limited company in India with affiliate entities in the US (a C corp and a 501c3 foundation). An 8 member finance team based in Bangalore manages all the finance operations for all business divisions and entities. This team is supported by tax and legal advisors both in the US and in India as needed.

Were looking for a hands-on FP&A Associate to own the P&L from end to end and be the engine behind our financial reporting turning raw data into the insights that fuel our growth strategy.


Responsibilities and outcomes -

1. Financial Planning & Strategic Modeling

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts.
  • Long-range Planning: Partner with leadership to develop multi-year strategic financial plans and growth projections.
  • Scenario Analysis: Build robust models to identify growth drivers and stress-test the impact of internal and external factors.

2. Performance Analysis & Business Intelligence

  • KPI Management: Define and monitor financial and operational KPIs to provide a 360-degree view of company performance.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis into cost-center performance comparing Actuals vs. Budget and Prior Periods to identify trends.

3. Strategic Communication & Advisory

  • Executive Commentary: Translate complex data into clear actionable narratives for the senior leadership team.
  • Operational Efficiency: Proactively recommend cost-reduction strategies and process improvements to streamline operations and boost margins.
  • Cross-functional Support: Act as a financial advisor to department heads helping them understand the financial implications of their operational results.

You will be successful if you come with

  • MBA or BBA in Finance Accounting or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in financial analysis planning or corporate finance.
  • Advanced Excel: Mastery of complex modeling and automation Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and modern BI/reporting software.
  • A genuine interest to be in the social impact sector (prior exposure to social impact organizations / NGOs is not necessary)
  • A team-player mindset with the agility to support broader finance department goals.

About Give

  1. - online platform for retail donors to donate to an NGO or a cause of their choice. Donations can be one-time or recurring subscriptions. The platform operates in India and in the US. More than 100000 donors use the platform every year to donate to 800 nonprofits.

  2. Give Grants - consulting services and a SaaS platform for CSR management. Works with 50 India based companies for CSR strategy monitoring and evaluation impact assessments and program design.

  3. Give Discover - a platform of choice for verified NGO information. It currently has more than 57000 NGO profiles and conducts 500 detailed due diligences every year.
