The Role
As the Design Coordinator you will report to the Design Manager and be responsible for the review and coordination of drawings and specifications. projects for the business are up to $40m in value across Education Industrial Government and Retail Brisbane and across QLD.
You will work with sophisticated processes and systems in a collaborative team environment. Your main areas of responsibility will include;
Coordinating the design process across all project phases - from concept to completion
Coordinate consultants authorities and internal stakeholders
Review drawings and documentation to ensure design intent and constructability with the Design Manager
Attend design meetings monitor progress and take minutes
Drive innovation and practical design solutions to achieve best project outcomes
About You
The ideal candidate will come from Architectural practice with exposure to projects in the relevant sectors.
You will have 3 years experience working graduate or project architect.
This is ideally suited to someone who enjoys the creative side to architecture but wants exposure to the commercial contractual and practical side of building.
You will demonstrate a strong work ethic keen eye for detail and commercial acumen.
You will have a either Masters of Architecture Bachelor of Construction Management or Bachelor of Structural/Civil Engineering
