Responsibilities
As the VIC Regional Director you will:
- Lead business development and project delivery across Victoria focusing on HV and renewable energy projects.
- Build and manage a high-performing local team to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with national teams on major projects ensuring seamless execution and alignment with company goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Occasionally travel as required to oversee projects and foster client relationships.
Qualifications
To excel in this role you will need:
- A proven network within Victorias energy sector particularly in renewables transmission & distribution or energy infrastructure.
- Technical credibility ideally with experience in grid connection engineering or commissioning.
- A values-driven approach demonstrating respect client focus and collaboration.
- Strong leadership skills with a mature flexible and open mindset no micromanagement here.
- A track record of success across multiple organisations or project types.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will include:
- Engaging with key stakeholders to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Overseeing the delivery of diverse projects including substations transmission lines Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and wind farms.
- Leading and mentoring your team to achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborating with national teams to align strategies and share best practices.
- Representing the company at industry events and fostering relationships within the energy sector.
