Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd shift
Position summary:
The Manufacturing Supervisor leads manufacturing teams at our RCA plant located in West Point Georgia by creating a safe and high-performance work environment. This role emphasizes coaching employee development and accountability while ensuring production goals for safety quality on time delivery and productivity are met.
Educational requirements:
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related field
- Will consider: High school diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent manufacturing experience
Skills and experience:
- At least two (2) years of manufacturing supervisory experience
- Excellent communication coaching and problem-solving skills
Essential duties:
- Coach develop and engage associates to build skills ownership and accountability
- Foster a positive team culture focused on safety respect and continuous improvement
- Lead by example and reinforce company values safety expectations and work standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules environmental regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment through strong housekeeping practices
- Ensure awareness of and adherence to departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Align staffing materials and priorities to meet daily production goals
- Provide regular feedback conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth
- Train and onboard new employees reinforcing best practices quality standards and safe work methods
- Address performance attendance and conduct issues fairly and consistently
- Collaborate with other leaders to improve communication workflow and results
- Perform other duties as assigned
