We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers Respite Services in Dublin Ireland.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 25 hours per week worked over 7 days including evenings weekends and sleepovers
Salary:(Full-Time Equivalent)
Actual salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for 25 hours per week excluding premiums for evenings weekends and sleepovers
Location: Rush Co. Dublin
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality person-centred care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities
Support individuals with daily living skills personal development and social inclusion
Promote independence choice dignity and quality of life
Encourage community participation and meaningful activities
Work collaboratively as part of a professional multidisciplinary residential team
Ensure care and services are delivered in line with HIQA Standards organisational policies and best practice
Requirements
CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential)
QQI Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or a related discipline and/or significant relevant experience leading to CORU registration
Full clean manual driving licence (essential)
Previous experience working in disability services and/or residential care settings
Sound knowledge of HIQA Standards and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication interpersonal and teamwork skills
